Hello MFR Fans!
Starting something new this week: adding MFR scores and a one line review to keep things moving along on the criticism track. Hoping to someday get back to publishing more reviews!
Just screened (theatrically) the following flix:
HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 (4/5-stars): Witty and entertaining animated sequel to a witty and entertaining animated movie.
EVEREST (4/5-stars) : Thrilling, scary, heartbreaking and exciting movie about climbing a mountain because it is there.
THE INTERN (2.5/5-stars): Glossy production and solid star chemistry can’t save up a mediocre script or sappy denouement.
THE MARTIAN (4.5/5-stars): Thrilling and exciting sci-fi yarn led by a terrific Matt Damon and on-the-ball director Ridley Scott.
