Launched in 2006, the MFR (moonstarfilmreviews.com) is the brainchild of filmmaker/scholar Youssef Kdiry. This blog version was launched in April 2012 to provide quality movie reviews while the main website undergoes a complete overhaul by early 2014.
The MFR was created with the singular notion that every movie deserves honest, insightful, informed and objectively-subjective film analysis–regardless of praise or stigma. Yeah…I love movies–and am not afraid to admit it!
